E Yuvette Hudson is a dedicated community leader, nonprofit founder, advocate, and public servant with a passion for helping individuals and families overcome barriers and access the resources they need to thrive.

Ms. Hudson is the Founder/ Chair and CEO of Community Connect Services, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2020 with a mission to connect individuals and families with essential resources and supportive services. Her vision is “Breaking Barriers Today for a Better Tomorrow.”

Ms. Hudson has served as a Commissioner on the Housing Authority of DeKalb County since 2011 and as Vice Chair of Resident Services Corporation of DeKalb County since 2013. She brings years of experience in community service, leadership, administration, and advocacy.

She attended Shorter University, where she studied Human Services, and Argosy University, where she studied Psychology. She also earned a Certificate as a Benefit Planning Specialist through the University of Missouri Columbia Rehabilitation Continuing Education Program.

Professionally, Ms. Hudson has worked in administrative and vocational rehabilitation capacities, including with the Georgia Department of Labor’s Vocational Rehabilitation Program, where she supported efforts to help individuals with disabilities pursue employment and greater economic independence.

Most importantly, Ms. Hudson is a proud mother of four adult children Marcus, Ashley, Artavia, and Lasean and a proud grandmother of twin adult granddaughters Ayranae and Aaliyah She is also blessed with her son-in-law, Aaron. Her family and life experiences continue to inspire her commitment to serving others and strengthening the communities she calls home.
